The TA Pai Management Institute, as it is called today, began its journey in 1980 as the Mani pal Institute of Management. Subsequently, it was renamed in honor of its founder. Thus the TA Pai Management Institute was born in the year 1981. PGDM course was launched in 1984 with a small batch of 49 students, to emerge as one of the leading management institutes of the country.

Course Structure:

It is designed as a two year full-time course where you are free to choose electives for specialization in the second year in General, Finance, Marketing, HR, and Analytics. Information Technology and Operations.

Eligibility and Admission Process:

To be eligible, you have to be a graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks. Requisite percentile cut off in different Management Entrance tests is in the range of 85 in CAT and XAT and 630in GMAT. The other cut off is a minimum of 60% up to graduation.

Once you are shortlisted based on the above criterion, you will need to appear in the following:

  • Written Aptitude Test (WAT).
  • Group Discussion (GD)
  • Personal interview (PI)

Final selection is determined on a combination score derived from all of them.
